God is Omnipresent
God is present everywhere. He transcends the physical world.
Psalm 139:7-10
Jeremiah 23:23-25
1. God does not have a physical body.
2. God is not contained by the physical world.
1 Kings 8:27
Terms such as big, large, and massive, expressions of volume or mass, do not apply to God because he transcends physicality.
3. God is fully present in all of his being, everywhere. God is simple. He cannot be divided into parts.
4. God is transcendent, distinct from his creation. Therefore, omnipresence does not equate with pantheism (everything is God) or panentheism (the world is part of God). Creation and God are not one.
5. A theophany is a visible manifestation of God, such as the burning bush of Exodus 3. Theophany is not a contradiction of God’s omnipresence. God is always fully present everywhere.

Episode 5: God is Omniscient
God knows all things
Luke 7:36-50
Jesus knows the mind and heart of both Simon and the woman.
God knows all things.

God knows the future.

God knows our hearts.

Mark 2:6-9
All of God's knowledge is immediately and directly in his awareness.
Psalm 139:1-6
God does not learn. He doesn’t find out. He is never surprised. He knows.
If God knows the future, he has a different relationship with time than we do.

God's omniscience and omnipresence are closely related.
God's knowledge of future events is connected with his sovereignty over history.

God is in control.
God's judgment will be utterly just.
God's perfect knowledge is a comfort for those who have faith.

Episode 3: God is Personal
God is the absolute power in the universe. He is not an impersonal force. God is personal.
A few examples of personal traits:
1. God possesses knowledge

God is Father

Abba is an Aramaic term of closeness with a father. Jesus prays to his Father as Abba, and Paul teaches the same for us.

Matthew 7:9-11
The father in Jesus’ parable of the prodigal son teaches us about God our Father.
